The 2017 Premiership in the PlayStation®4 NPL NSW Women’s competition will be decided on the final day of the season.

Sydney University v Macarthur Rams
At Sydney University Football Ground, the Macarthur Rams took a huge step toward securing the Premiership, dfeating direct rivals Sydney University 2-1.
Kahlia Muilwyk and Kristina Maksuti both scored for Norman Boardman’s side while Amy Sayer picked up Uni’s goal.
The Rams wasted no time in hitting the front and after six minutes Kahlia Muilwyk had herself on the scoresheet.
Uni didn’t deal well with a corner, allowing Muilwyk to pounce on a rebound and volley beyond Georgia Boric.
Muilwyk should’ve doubled the lead on 11 minutes after a defensive blunder by Uni but this time Boric saved well.
On 22 minutes the home side was level.
Nikki Flannery lobbed a ball over the Rams defence into the path of Amy Sayer who made no mistake with the finish, placing the ball into the back of the net.
10 minutes later Stephanie Ambrose tried her luck from a free kick but her effort went just over the bar.
Seven minutes after half time the away side hit the front for the second time.
Again Uni didn’t deal with a set piece as a low Kylie Ledbrook free kick was only palmed into the path of Kristina Maksuti who buried the ball home.
On 59 minutes it was time for some individual brilliance from Ledbrook.
The Rams number 10 saw Boric off her line and let fly from over 30m out, only to see her shot smack against the cross bar.
Kendall Fletcher almost had Uni level again on 65 minutes but she couldn’t direct her head golwards.
Uni really should’ve equalised with 15 minutes left on the clock.
Substitute Georgia Yeoma-Dale was put through on goal but had her shot fantastically saved by Shamiran Khamis.
The ball fell to the feet of the experienced Fletcher but she completely got her bearings wrong, skying the ball over the bar.
On 79 minutes it was the Rams’ turn to test their luck as Leena Khamis tried a volley with the outside of the foot, forcing Boric into a fingertip save.
From the resulting corner, again Khamis went close, this time with a header but Boric held the ball well.
With four minutes to go, Julia-Ann Russel made space for herself in the box and blasted a shot toward goal but Khamis again came out on top.
With a minute to go in normal time, Mel Caceres curled an effort from the edge of the area toward the far post, only for the ball to whiz past the post.
Sydney University 1 (Sayer 22’)
Macarthur Rams 2 (Muilwyk 6’, Maksuti 52’)
