Macarthur Rams Build for a Big 2026 NPL Women’s NSW Season

Macarthur Rams enter the 2026 National Premier Leagues Women’s NSW season with renewed belief and a clear objective to challenge for silverware and establish themselves as a genuine force in the competition once more.
Under the guidance of head coach Victoria Guzman, the Rams have built an exciting and well-balanced squad that blends experience, elite pedigree and emerging youth, all while remaining true to the club’s strong development ethos at Lynwood Park.
A number of high-profile additions headline the Rams’ push forward in 2026. Former UNSW FC standout Marcella Santos brings proven quality and composure, while Eliza Ammendolia and Isabella Sollecito add further depth and versatility across the park. Also generating excitement is the return of Gabriella Sarkis, who is set to rejoin the squad after recovering from an ACL injury, providing both leadership and resilience.
The Rams have also retained several of their most influential performers, with star midfielder Sakura Nojima, prolific striker Tea Mucenski, and Chantelle Maniti all recommitting to the club. Their continuity provides a strong foundation as the side looks to build consistency and momentum throughout the season.
A key pillar of Macarthur’s 2026 campaign is the promotion of youth talent from within. Sophie Brokenshire and Halle Thomas have stepped up from the club’s youth ranks, joined by Junior Matildas representatives Liana Luong and Abbie Puckett, whose elevation highlights the club’s strong pathway for young players.
Further depth and future promise can be found in the Rams’ Under 23 squad, with fellow Junior Matilda Tyra Bagiante and Milla Singleton, returning from an ACL injury, among those expected to push strongly for senior involvement as the season unfolds.
While the Rams have seen some notable departures, including Lola Sossai (Sydney Olympic), Libby Morris, and Maya Lobo, the club remains confident that its refreshed squad has the quality and hunger required to take the next step.
With an exciting mix of experience, youth and ambition, Macarthur Rams head into 2026 determined to turn potential into performance and to make Lynwood Park a fortress as they chase silverware in the NPL Women’s NSW.
