More of the same as Rams ready for second successive title shot

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it! That will be the Champions Macarthur Rams’ slogan for the 2023 season of the National Premier Leagues NSW Women’s competition.
Championship winning coach Stephen Peters has been fairly quiet in the transfer market over the spring/summer break but will be happy with the squad assembled.
They will be without club legend Kylie Ledbrook who has retired, the dangerous left footed Patty Charalambous who has moved to the Victorian NPL and Holly Williams who will be playing in the Football NSW League One competition due to work commitments.
Suiting up again in 2023 will be another Rams legend, Leena Khamis, alongside Laura Murtagh, Miku Sunaga and central defender Alex Huynh.
Liberty A-League stars Sham Khamis, Izzy Foletta, Madison McComasky, Lauren Keir, Darcey Malone, Bethany Gordon and Mel Caceres will also be back at Lynwood park for the new campaign.
In terms of new arrivals, Amalia Plummer returns to the Rams after time spent at the Football NSW Institute, joined by young stars Tegan Bertolissio, Maya Lobo and Indi Breier, also arriving from Valentine Sports Park.
