Sutherland Shire Football Association promote female football
The Sutherland Shire Football Association staged its second successive Free Girls Only Training evening on Wednesday May 18th.
As many as 170 enthusiastic girls attended what was a magnificent evening where they picked up new skills and took part in a number of helpful and fun drills conducted by the various PS4 NPL NSW Women’s representative coaches and players.
Former Matildas and Westfield W-League star Servet Uzunlar joined in on the festivities as a special guest, as the current Football NSW Women’s & Girls Development Officer shared her useful knowledge on the round ball game to the many keen young female footballers who were on show.
The Association will look towards staging its third Free Girls Only Training evening in July or August with details to be announced on the official association website.
