The Northern Tigers have become one of the leading clubs in the National Premier Leagues Women’s NSW competition over the years and this season won’t be any different for them.

They finally secured silverware in 2024 lifting the Sapphire Cup but narrowly missed out on finals football for the second consecutive year.

Chris Wood will lead the first grade team again showing consistency in the coaching department but also in the playing stocks.

Returning to North Turramurra again in 2025 will be Beth Bernardi, Olivia Cartwright, Nicola Dominikovich, Saffron Grass and Jade McAtamney to name a few.

While another returnee will excite many, Servet Uzunlar will don the green and white again on her comeback trail. The former Matilda, capped 48 times by the national team, will add a lot of experience to the young side.

They have strengthened their goal keeping ranks by bringing in Anna Norton from the Blacktown Spartans and Anna Ivanovic from Sydney Olympic.

Right back Savannah Murray comes in from NWS Spirit FC, Maia Cameron arrives from UNSW FC, Aimee Longhurst from Sydney University SFC while Hayley Johnson, an American visa player, arrives from the Preston Lions in Victoria.

The squad will be strengthened with a number of returning Liberty A-League Women’s players also over the coming weeks.
