National Premier Leagues Women’s NSW powerhouse APIA Leichhardt’s sights are set on taking everything there is on offer in 2025, the Premiership, Championship, Sapphire Cup and Club Championship and the pressure will be on Brad Attard to deliver.

APIA finished last season’s NPL Women’s NSW competition trophy-less, something that was below expectation for the proud and ambitious football club.

Despite that, they finished second in the league and were Grand Finalists where they lost to the Macarthur Rams after a penalty shoot-out but won the Club Championship, again.

The Inner West club have recruited extremely well bringing in one of the competition’s most celebrated players over the last decade from rivals Macarthur Rams, Mel Caceres, who will now call Lambert Park home.

Defensively they have strengthened their stocks by bringing in competition stalwart Jess Seaman from Bulls FC Academy (who will join post A-League women’s commitments), while hard-working midfielder Hannah McNulty joins APIA from the Northern Tigers.

They’ve also added some talented youngsters from the Football NSW Institute, including Mikayla Duong and Christina Kiceec.

APIA have managed to re-sign a number of key players from their last season’s squad including Tanya Borazio, Mona Walker, Charlotte Lancaster, Ash Crofts, Gisella Pipino, Estelle Fragale and very exciting youngster Zoe Panagopolous.
