Mt Druitt Town Rangers ready to rock the NPL Women’s NSW competition

Newly-promoted National Premier Leagues Women’s NSW outfit Mount Druitt Town Rangers will be one team to keep a close eye on as the league kicks off on the 9th of March.

It was a year to remember for the Rangers in 2024 as coach Ben Gough saw his charges finish second in the Premiership, clinched the Championship and took out the Club Championship trumping SD Raiders.

The club has been busy in the off-season and has managed to sign several new faces but has retained a couple of its stars that assisted in the club’s promotion. Former Matildas and goal-scoring machine Leena Khamis, defender Emily Kos and Rosie Galea who were all key to the Rangers promotional run and have re-signed for the 2025 season.

Others to re-sign from the Championship winning squad include Holly Williams, Tiarne Flavin, Renee Krstanovska, Holly Pender and Rita Boateng who scored 22 goals in 25 starts last campaign.

The new faces set to don the Rangers kit for the new season include Natalie Casha, Kaiya Buchanan, Clare Holder, Erin Tavares, Keiko Tanaka and Olivia Sloan.

The Rangers kick off their 2025 season with a home match against Bulls FC Academy at Popondetta Park on Sunday 9th of March.
