Crofts aims high as APIA look towards silverware
It’s been a great start to the National Premier Leagues Women’s NSW season by APIA Leichhardt FC and their star player in Ashlie Crofts.
The club has raised the bar once again in pushing for silverware with Crofts stating on Kick-Off, the Football NSW official Competition Podcast, how tough games have been this year.
“It’s such a tight competition, any team can beat anyone on their day so we’ve got to be on top of our game every week.”
The 2023 NPL Women’s NSW Player of the Year and Golden Boot recipient is showing no signs of slowing down as she, along with her teammates, look set to give the Premiership and Championship a good shake on APIA’s quest to clinch silverware for the 2024 season.
The team currently sits one point clear at the top of the table with four rounds remaining.
