One of two clubs to gain promotion to the National Premier Leagues NSW Women’s competition for the 2023 season are the Bulls FC Academy.
They will be led by the experienced Jaime Gomez who remarkably was crowned Champion with his Football NSW Institute side back in 2014.
He has wasted little time in strengthening his squad, picking up four players he knows well from the Football NSW Institute including, Peta Trimis (U-17 National Team), Avaani Prakash (U-17 National Team), Amy Chessari and Gemma Ferris.
They’ll be supported by the experienced Rachel Patterson who joins from NWS Spirit and Nikola Orgil who returns to state league football after some time away and playing overseas.
A major coup for Gomez’s team was the re-signing of 2022 Football NSW League One Women’s top scorer, Tami De Souza.
As is, the Bulls could ruffle some feathers and are even tipped as favourites by many once their Liberty A-League players return, how far can Gomez take this squad?
