National Premier Leagues NSW Women’s side NWS Spirit FC have secured the services of 2022 Player of the Year winner Rola Badawiya for the 2023 season.
The 24-year-old U.S. born star set the NPL Women’s competition alight in 2022 with Premiers Sydney University as the ace striker finished up with 13 goals for the year as well as string of quality performances for her side.
“I am excited to see her add to the strong identity and culture we are building here at NWS Spirit FC,” said NWS Spirit FC coach Tiana Gauci.
“Rola brings further attacking flair to our great group of players and has a team first winning mentality that will help drive our competitive campaign in 2023.”
Having aspirations to play in Australia’s top tier Women’s league, Badawiya has no doubt put herself in the shop window for any A-League Womens outfit wishing to sign a quality attacker.
