Ashlee Brodigan has been in fine form for the Northern Tigers in the #NPLWNSW competition in 2022.
Finishing second in the golden boot race, Brodigan scored 12 goals in 18 games in what is a fantastic return for the season.
“I have achieved a few personal goals this season which I’m happy about. I believe having such good team mates around me has helped me have a good season and I cannot wait to build on this next year,” Brodigan said.
The Tigers have been fantastic this season and aside a drop-in form in July have not been outside of the Top Four all season. It would have been devastating for them and perhaps unjust had they missed out on the finals after losing to Sydney Uni on the final day of the season, the football Gods looking down on them.
No doubt the girls from North Turramurra have exceptional quality and despite finishing in fourth place, are as capable as anyone else in the finals to take out the Championship.
”I believe we have showed that we are a great team with only four losses and scoring 47 goals throughout this season,” said Brodigan.
“In that stat alone it shows exactly what we can do and if we keep enforcing our game plan through the semi-finals and working as a team, we can go all the way.”
The loss against Sydney Uni on Sunday can be viewed as a bad day at the office but they will need to straighten out any deficiencies and problems as there will be no second chance this time.
“A massive learning curve from both times we played Sydney Uni this year and we will be reviewing these games in preparation for this week’s clash,” the goals scorer said.
Jake Stephenson, the Tigers head coach, will be preparing his team for what is the biggest match of the season to date.
“Training this week will be important and we will continue to work on both our strengths and weaknesses and improve on our last performance,” said Brodigan.
“As a team we will implement our game plan and show everyone who the Northern Tigers really are.”
